Our native missionaries tend to the farm and use its profits to care for orphans and to fund other ministry efforts. Due to the crippling effects of extreme poverty and disease in South Asia, millions of children are orphaned, roaming the streets in gangs or falling victim to child prostitution, human trafficking or forced labor. Peace Gospel's orphanages in Myanmar act as a safe harbors in the midst of this darkness, offering orphans a way out of the dead-end of despair and hunger. Thanks to newly expanded facilities, we now have room to bring in many more children. The profits from the pig farm will help us do just that.
